Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 5 - Fast bowler Sreesanth is hoping that a stint with former South African pacer Allan Donald can bring him back to national reckoning.
Sreesanth will be leaving Friday to train with Warwickshire bowling coach Donald.
'I am leaving Friday night and am excited about it for more reasons than one,' Sreesanth told IANS.
'I was supposed to leave a bit early but the passport got delayed.'
The speedster, who has been out of the Indian team following injuries, was last month appointed captain of the Kerala cricket team.
He last played a One-day international for the country against Australia at Brisbane in March 2008.
His last Test was against South Africa at Kanpur in April last year, following which he was bogged down by fitness problems.
After a long lay-off, he returned to play the last few matches for Kings XI Punjab in the second edition of the Indian Premier League in South Africa.
