Patna, Aug 4 - Police Tuesday busted an illegal gun factory run by notorious gangster Prakash Mandal and arrested 50 of his aides in Bihar's Munger district.

Seventeen pistols, a rifle, some crude bombs, two horses were also recovered during the crackdown on the gangsters.

'Police raided 13 places following intelligence reports and arrested 50 criminals of the Mandal gang,' Superintendent of Police M. Sunil Nayak said.

Mandal, a known gangster in Munger and its neighbouring areas, is wanted in dozens of crimes, including murder, kidnapping, extortion and loot.
