New Delhi, July 31 - After playing a cameo on hit TV soap 'Balika Vadhu', veteran actress Farida Jalal is set to return to small screen with a full-fledged role in a new show, details of which are under wraps.
Her comeback show, which is expected to be very 'emotional' in its theme, is being produced by Dhiraj Kotkar who had earlier made the movie 'Karma - Crime Passion Reincarnation' under his banner Golden Ticket Films.
'When we narrated the concept of the show to her (Farida)...the first thing she asked me is -- 'Are u really going to make it?'. I said 'yes' and then she gave me a go ahead for it,' Waseem Sabir, who will direct the series, told IANS.
The 60-year-old, who has earlier starred in popular shows like 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' and 'Shararat', had said in an interview that 'television gives more scope to actors like me' and so she likes to keep coming back to the medium.
