Chennai, July 30 - Apollo Hospitals and Enterprises Ltd said Thursday it planned to open four more children's speciality hospitals including one perhaps in Nigeria, said a company official.
'We are planning to open four more children's hospitals of which three will be in India and one overseas. The overseas hospital may be in Nigeria,' Prathap C. Reddy, chairman of Apollo Hospitals, told reporters here.
Earlier, Oscar Award winning music director A.R. Rahman inaugurated the group's first children's speciality hospital in Chennai.
The 80-bed Apollo Children's Hospital will provide comprehensive care for children up to 16 years of age and has 45 specialists and over 180 nurses.
