New Delhi, July 30 - Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit Thursday inspected various road development projects being carried out in the capital for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
Dikshit along with Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan visited various under-construction flyovers, underpasses and inspected street lighting arrangements in the trans-Yamuna area of east Delhi.
'The chief minister directed PWD to complete all the works related to the flyovers, underpass and grade separator within the stipulated time,' a Delhi government official said.
The official added that Dikshit had expressed confidence that all construction works related to Commonwealth Games - scheduled to be held in October 2010 - would be completed well in time and said that until then she would herself inspect the works every month.
