New Delhi, Sep 24 - India's P. Kashyap lost in straight sets to Denmark's Peter Gade 10-21, 10-21 in the men's singles pre-quarterfinals of the Yonex Open Japan Super Series badminton in Tokyo Thursday.

Kashyap proved no match to World No. 3 Gade, going down in mere 31 minutes, according to information received here. With his loss, the Indian challenge in the tournament is over.

Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta and V. Diju's run in the tournament had already ended in the first round Wednesday.
