Chandigarh, Sep 22 - Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia was discharged from the hospital Tuesday, three days after he was admitted Saturday after collapsing during a function.
Pahadia's aide-de-camp (police) J.P. Dahiya told IANS that the governor was fine and all the results of tests conducted on him were normal.
'It happened just because of exertion due to the very tight schedule of the governor. He will take a rest for three-four days and then continue his work as usual,' added Dahiya.
Pahadia, 77, had complained of uneasiness and collapsed while attending a function of the Brahmakumari sect at Manimajra town near here Saturday and was taken to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
PGIMER doctors conducted various medical tests on him.
