Chandigarh, Sep 21 - Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia continued to be in the hospital for the third day Monday after collapsing here Saturday during a function.
Aides of the governor said some more tests were to be conducted on him and there was a possibility of him being discharged Tuesday.
Pahadia, 77, had felt uneasiness and collapsed during a religious function of the Brahmakumari sect at Manimajra town near here. He was taken to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
Pahadia's aide-de-camp (ADC-police) J.P. Dahiya told IANS that the governor was fine now and doctors were monitoring his condition.
'Some more tests are to be done on him. He is likely to be discharged tomorrow,' Dahiya said.
Pahadia, who remained Rajasthan chief minister from June 1980 to July 1981 and was also a union minister of state, had assumed charge as Haryana governor July 27 this year.
