New Delhi, Sep 18 - The inquiry report into last week's stampede in a Delhi school, in which five students were killed and 34 injured, was submitted to the government Friday.
'I have submitted my report today. But I can't disclose any details,' Deputy Commissioner of northeast Delhi T.C. Nakh, who conducted the inquiry, told IANS.
Five girl students were killed and at least 34 were injured Sep 10 in a stampede at the Government Senior Secondary School (Classes 6-12) in Khajoori Khas area of northeast Delhi. The victims were mostly from Classes 7-10 and had come to the school in pouring rain for their mid-year examinations.
'I recorded statements of 161 people which included teachers of the school, residents of the locality and others,' said Nakh.
