Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 14 - The Congress Monday demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the murder of Muthoot business group scion Paul M. George.
State Congress president Ramesh Chennithala said the probe into the murder has been 'bungled completely' and people have lost faith in Kerala Police.
'The police allowed Om Prakash and P. Rajesh to escape from the state soon after George was murdered. Even a good officer like Inspector General of Police Vinson M. Paul, who is heading the investigations, cannot conduct a clean probe. Only through a CBI probe would the real truth come out,' said Chennithala.
