Kolkata, Sep 13 - The textile heritage of Jaipur came alive at the Kolkata Fashion Week-II Sunday as gorgeous models sashayed down the ramp displaying designer Anita Dongre's collection produced in the pink city.
'My entire collection is inspired by Jaipur as I have spent my childhood over there,' Dongre told mediapersons after the show on the fifth and final day of the fashion extravaganza.
'The collection has been produced in Jaipur. Most of the fabrics were sourced from Jaipur with a few from Benaras as it has a very rich textile heritage,' the designer said.
To create the proper ambience, the models' make up were done in a way that it gave an authentic look of Jaipur.
