New Delhi, Sep 6 - A 26-year-old Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in his house in Narela of northwest Delhi, police said.

'The body of Om Prakash was found hanging from the ceiling in his room by his father Manchand Sunday morning. He was unmarried and was posted at the Rithala Metro station,' a senior police officer said.

'No suicide note was found from the spot. The exact reason for the suicide is not established as yet. But his father said that Om Prakash was depressed and had not even gone to duty for the last two days,' the police officer added.

Further investigations are on.
