London, Aug 11 - American actress-singer Jessica Simpson says when she was caught in an earthquake in Japan, she thought she was 'hallucinating'.

She was there to film her new reality TV show 'The Price of Beauty' when a strong earthquake struck Tsuruga Bay, which is southwest of Tokyo, in the early hours of Tuesday morning. It was measured 6.6 on the Richter scale, reports femalefirst.co.uk

'I thought I was hallucinating. I have never felt anything like this in my life,' Simpson wrote on her Twitter.

The earthquake caused no damage, but a tsunami warning has been issued for the Indian Ocean after earthquakes struck.
