Lucknow, Sep 24 - A bomb exploded in the main branch of the ICICI Bank here Thursday, followed by the recovery of two bags of crude bombs, police said, adding that nobody was injured in the blast.
'According to eyewitnesses, a bag kept near the cash deposit counter exploded at around 5 p.m.,' deputy inspector general of police (Lucknow) Prem Prakash told reporters.
Police also recovered two carrybags from the bank branch in the Hazratganj locality.
'The bags contained crude bombs. We have asked the bank officials for the footage of all the CCTV cameras in the bank,' Prakash added.
No one was injured in the incident, he said.
