New Delhi, Sep 23 - Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna will only discuss the issue of terror with Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi when the two meet in New York Sep 27, authoritative sources said Wednesday.
The meeting will not discuss anything else and it will certainly not amount to resumption of the stalled peace dialogue, the sources said, speaking strictly on condition of anonymity.
'Krishna has been directed by the cabinet to discuss only the issue of cross-border terrorism that sees no signs of abating,' said a source with access to high-level government thinking.
The government feels that Pakistan has showed no signs of stopping what were seen as determined attempts to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir despite official official protestations to the contrary, the source said.
The meeting of foreign ministers in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session, will be preceded by a meeting of foreign secretaries.
