Liverpool, Sep 21 (DPA) Andy Murray, who risked an injury to no avail as Britain lost a Davis Cup European zonal tie at the weekend to Poland, said the nation got what it deserved on court.
'At last we are where we deserve to be,' said the Scot, who played three rubbers despite dealing with a wrist injury which he fears could be tendinitis.
'We are clearly are not good enough to play at this level of the competition and even with me playing we are struggling to win matches,' added Murray. 'We need to be honest about where we are and this could be the best thing to happen.
'Everybody that is involved - and I'm one of them - needs to be honest about how we are doing and that we need to get better.
