Raipur, Sep 17 - Troopers of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) early Thursday gunned down two Maoist guerrillas in Chhattisgarh's restive Bastar region, police said.
The rebels were shot dead in a forested hilly stretch in the interiors of Bijapur
district, some 450 km south of here, an official at the police headquarters here told IANS.
In a separate incident, the District Force (DF) arrested a female insurgent in the same district wanted for several attacks on police in recent months, the official added.
