Mumbai, Sep 17 - Infrastructure equipment company Quippo Telecom Infrastructure has bagged a contract from Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) to provide WiMax connectivity at the airport's Terminal 3.
The under-construction terminal of the Indira Gandhi International airport will have WiMax and Wi-Fi technologies with the help of Quippo and Ericsson, DIAL said in a regulatory statement.
WiMax and Wi-Fi are wireless technologies for Internet broadband connectivity.

HCL ties up with US firms
New Delhi: IT services provider HCL Technologies has signed IT infrastructure management agreements with two Texas-based power firms, the company said Thursday.
According to the agreement, the Indian IT major will manage the IT infrastructure of Energy Future Holdings Corp and Oncor for five years.
The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
