Ghaziabad, Sep 14 - Two armed masked men robbed a cooperative bank of over Rs.1.7 lakh here Monday, police said.

The heist occurred Monday in Govindpuri locality under the Modinagar police station of Ghaziabad.

'Two masked men armed with pistols barged into a cooperative bank in Ghaziabad. While one of the men had a gun pointed at the manager in her cabin, the other robber collected all the cash. They then fled the scene, robbing over Rs.1.7 lakh,' a police officer said.

'A case has been registered and the investigation is on,' Superintendent of Police (Rural) K.K. Asthana said.
